Employer Requirements

The main employer requirements are to:

• Provide a safe working environment
• Provide accommodation or assist the trainee in finding suitable accommodation
• Pay Trainees a reasonable wage for the level of work, but at least the minimum adult wage with the same conditions as NZ temporary employees.
• Create a positive impression of life in New Zealand which they can communicate to others back home!
